First, he surged on the weekly rankings with “Thriller” as millions of Americans pressed play on the creepy cut around Halloween, and now his holiday hits are succeeding once again.
This frame, Jackson and his brothers–together as the Jackson 5–see two of their releases rise into the top 10 on a pair of tallies for the first time, adding to their career totals once again. One is a successful song, while the other is the album it’s featured on. As one rises, the other does too, based on how Billboard tracks consumption.
Looking specifically at songs, the brotherly band rises into the top 10 on the R&B Streaming Songs chart. The Jackson 5 earn another smash with “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.” That cut is up to No. 10 this frame, entering the top 10 for the first time this period.
Impressively, “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” isn’t the Jackson 5’s only hit on this week’s R&B Streaming Songs chart. The brothers also appear just a few spaces above this new top 10, with “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town.” That beloved composition is up to its high point of No. 7.

The Jackson 5 Christmas Album rises to a new best showing of No. 9 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. According to Luminate, the set moved another 27,000 equivalent units this past tracking period.
Of course, the Jackson 5’s songs and their Christmas album are also doing well on other Billboard charts. The aforementioned performances are only highlighted, as they see these titles reach the top 10 for the first time on various lists.
